About
Dr. Ian Haslam, PT, DPT is a physical therapist who brings a broad background in neurological rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, home care, and orthopedic physical therapy to NPBTC. He graduated with honors in Exercise Science from West Chester University in 2016 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University in 2020. His interest in physical therapy was shaped early on by helping his father, who has multiple sclerosis, and seeing firsthand how therapy can improve function and quality of life during flare-ups and hospitalizations.
Dr. Haslam has experience treating patients with dizziness and vestibular conditions, balance problems, neurological conditions, chronic pain, and sports or orthopedic injuries. During his training, he participated in research exploring chronic pain, its effects on the body, and best practices for long-term management, which continues to inform his patient-centered, education-focused approach to care.
He believes that effective physical therapy is rooted in individualized attention, clear communication, and building trust, and he strives to help patients achieve meaningful goals both in the clinic and in their everyday lives.
